Why We Conduct Greenhouse Gas Inventories?

As climate change and net-zero emissions gain global attention, carbon emissions generated from business operations have become a growing concern for stakeholders. UPRtek believes that sustainability is not just a slogan, but a long-term commitment that requires concrete actions and continuous management.

Starting in 2024, UPRtek officially launched its greenhouse gas inventory process to systematically identify carbon emissions arising from daily operations. Through annual tracking and review, we aim to better understand emission sources, identify opportunities for improvement, and support future energy-saving and operational optimization initiatives.

Greenhouse gas inventory is not a one-time task, but an ongoing management effort. Therefore, UPRtek conducts inventories and verification on an annual basis and continues to publicly disclose relevant results.

2024 Inventory Results

In 2024, UPRtek completed its first greenhouse gas inventory and obtained the 2024 Carbon Inventory Report. The inventory covered major emission sources from core business operations and established the company’s first comprehensive carbon emission baseline through systematic data collection and analysis.

These data provide a clear view of our current carbon footprint and form the foundation for future year-to-year comparison and improvement.

2025 Corporate Carbon Health Check Certification

Building on the inventory results, UPRtek underwent professional review and consultation in 2025 and obtained the 2025 Corporate Carbon Health Check Certificate. This process helped us gain a clearer understanding of our emission structure, management processes, and potential areas for continuous improvement.

The certification not only validates the integrity of our inventory process and data, but also serves as an important reference for optimizing our operations and management systems.

Going forward, UPRtek will continue to add annual inventory reports and certification results to this page as part of our ongoing disclosure.

Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, UPRtek will use 2024 as its baseline year and continue conducting annual greenhouse gas inventories and related verification to establish a stable, long-term carbon management framework.

Planned Third-Party Verification in 2025

In addition, UPRtek plans to complete third-party verification of its greenhouse gas inventory results in 2025, with the goal of achieving verification in accordance with the GHG Protocol. Through independent assurance, we aim to further enhance the credibility, consistency, and transparency of our carbon data, aligning our disclosures with internationally recognized carbon management frameworks.
