How to download the uSpectrum PC Software for your UPRtek Spectrometer?

This article explains how to download the uSpectrum PC software for UPRtek handheld spectrometers. The uSpectrum PC software allows you to connect a PC/laptop to your UPRtek device so you can have full screen view and device control from your PC.

Step 1

On the UPRtek website, please go to the menu bar and select Support – Download Center as shown below.

Step 2

Find the uSpectrum PC Software item from the drop down menus.

Step 3

After the screen auto-scrolls to the location shown below, click on either the Windows or Mac selection to download a zip file.

Step 4

You will be directed to Download Form – please fill in information. It is important that the email address you fill in is accurate. Hit the Send button and an email will be delivered to that address.

Step 5

You will receive an email with a link address. Press on that link and a zip file should automatically open up a web browser and start downloading.

After download is complete, click on the zip file to extract the uSpectrum_Installer.exe.

Step 6

Click on the uSpectrum_Installer.exe to start the PC installation process and follow the steps below.

Step 7

Installation begins showing a progress bar.

Step 8

Click next.

Step 9

Check the Acceptance box and click Next.

Step 10

Click next.

Step 11

Wait while the the installation continues.

Step 12

Click the Finish button.
