How to Create Test Reports with uSpectrum PC Software?
uSpectrum PC Software allows you to turn measurement data from a compatible UPRtek spectrometer into test reports for documentation, analysis, or printing.
You can create a report from one measurement or generate multiple reports at the same time. Follow the steps below to create your uSpectrum test reports.
Step 1. Load the Measurement Data
Open uSpectrum PC Software and enter VIEW mode. Click Load Data to import measurement data from either:
- A handheld spectrometer connected to the computer with a USB cable
- An SD card containing saved measurement data
Step 2. Select the Measurement Data
Select the measurement data which you wish to make the report, meantime, you may select more than 1 measurement data to make the report on the same time.
Step 3. Choose the Report Option
Choose the appropriate report option based on the number of measurements:
- Single report: Select Save Selected Data to Report.
- Multiple reports: Select Save All Data to Report.
Step 4. Confirm the Selection
When the confirmation message appears, click Yes to continue.
Step 5. Save the File
Choose where you want to save the report file, and then continue with the saving process.
Step 6. Enter the User Name
Enter the user or operator name that you want to display in the test report.
Step 7. Enter the Light Source Name
Fill up the name of the light source.
Step 8. Complete the Report Settings
Click OK to finish to save the data.
Step 9. Name the Report File
The file-naming process depends on the number of reports being generated:
- Single report: Enter your preferred file name.
- Multiple reports: Enter a file name, and uSpectrum will automatically add a sequence number to each report.
Step 10. Open and Print the Report
Open the saved report file to review the measurement information. You can then save, share, or print the uSpectrum test report as needed.
